So Far For 2005 . . .

January: Bill St. George and Bill Goodfellow manned the ACOT display at Motorsports in Fort Washington, PA. We had several cars on display including Ed Isnardi's midget and micro-midget, the TQ of Wayne Laucius, Dick Briggs' Trevis Offy midget and Mark Berentsen's Buick midget.

March: John Palmer was on hand to coordinate our display at Race-a-Rama in Springfield, MA. John's Pinto-powered Kurtis midget and Tim Leary's Alpha-powered Kurtis-copy were on display. These early season still shows generate a lot of fan interest.

May 7 - thirty-three cars were on display for the first points show of the season at Rhinebeck. The weather was overcast with cool temperatures and a cool breeze, but as we were loading up, the sun came out! Ed and Maureen (Gubitosi) Isnardi each brought out a car - their goal is co-championship awards at our Banquet in October. We met new member Becky Albert-Dobbins with the #4 Offy-powered midget, which was raced by Becky's grandfather, Bobby Albert.

We were at
Monadnock on May 28 with two sprint cars and 13 midgets. This was the first running meet of the year with a warm-up session and a 10-lap feature.

Our
June 3rd still show in Middletown's Festival Square had 13 cars on display. The live music show this year was "big band." This is a fun show every year.
